Shape Lab

Ready to explore your opportunities for innovation?

Shape Lab

How do you get started with innovation? Join SHAPE LAB—a new 3-month program tailored specifically for SSH researchers. Get your time funded (one day a week for 12 weeks), giving you the dedicated time and space to immerse yourself in the innovative ideas emerging from YOUR research. You will gain new insights and hands-on innovation training through unique 1:1 sparring with a dedicated SSH business developer, as well as powerful group sparring with the other SSH researchers in your cohort.

Note: Limited spots available – the first cohort (Autumn 2026) will consist of 5-6 SSH researchers.

Content and Timeline

  • Schedule: Runs from early September to late November 2026.
  • Workshops: 3 workshops centered on the innovation potential of your research.
  • Methodology: Hands-on approach combined with theory and models.
  • Collaboration: Group sparring and networking within the cohort.
  • Mentorship: 1:1 sparring with an SSH Business Developer.
  • Commitment: One day per week (on average) – flexible hours.
