AAU Super Proof of Concept

AAU Super Proof of Concept

The derisking before commercialization
The program is designed for technologies with significant commercial potential, scalable business opportunities, and a credible pathway towards licensing, company formation, or industrial implementation.
Unlike the traditional AAU Proof of Concept grant, AAU Super Proof of Concept focuses on later-stage technologies where technical feasibility has largely been demonstrated, and the primary challenge is reducing commercial, market, regulatory, and investment risks.
Up to DKK 1.5 million to accelerate commercialization
AAU Super Proof of Concept offers funding of up to DKK 1,500,000 over a period of 12 months to help researchers transform high-potential technologies into investment-ready opportunities. The program supports advanced technology maturation, market validation, IP development, business case refinement, and preparation for licensing, industrial partnerships, or spin-out formation. Reserved for innovations with significant scalability potential, all applications must be endorsed by an AAU Business Developer.
Next application deadline is October 29th 2026
If you are interested in applying, please make sure that you have read and meet the requirements. The expected dates for pitching your application are November 6th 2026 from 13:00 onwards.
